18/20. I thought Hank wrote “Oh Lonesome Me”. I guessed which album Cortez was on and I guessed incorrectly. I rarely listen to his studio albums. I’m more of a Live Neil fan.

“Oh Lonesome Me” was written and recorded in December 1957 by Don Gibson with Chet Atkins. The song topped the country chart for eight weeks.

19/20, so this is a score I can happily live with.
However, I tend to disagree with the answer to question 16. If you don’t count ‘Time Fades Away’, which was recorded live, and ‘Long May You Run’, which was an album by the Stills-Young Band, album number twenty should be ‘Ragged Glory’. ‘Sleeps With Angels’ is his 22nd album, for those who can count. But hell, it’s a bit hard to start a discussion with a computer, isn’t it?

Hello Dirk, he’s made so many albums it is difficult to work out. We checked on Wiki, (which we are the first to admit is not always correct), but they say Sleeps with Angels is the 20th studio album by Neil, released on August 16, 1994.
Anyway, the point is he’s made some great records, and we are now putting Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere on the deck which is always a favourite in the office!

Man, 18/20. Not too shabby. I did good mostly by process of elimination. I dropped out of listening to Neil. Not cuz I don’t love him, but I didn’t want to keep sounding like him when I write and play music. Too late, it’s burned in forever. Good challenge on this test!
